Every woman is asked to record physical activity per week, including walking, housework, bicycling and jogging. In conclusion, active women 10-19 hours a week, 30 percent lower risk of breast cancer.
Lauren McCullough, of the University of North Carolina, insists she does not need to go to the gym to maintain health. "You do not need to be strenuous exercise, run a marathon or tredmill every day. Walking, doing housework or cycling is enough," he said.
But a study published in the journal Cancer, found the benefits of exercise to prevent breast cancer is reduced when women are overweight. Unexpectedly, the hormone that drives tumor be higher in those with a lot of fat.
Oxford University in last year's study also claims obesity is a major cause of breast cancer in elderly women. Obesity triggers even more important than the consumption of alcohol or smoking.
